FIBRALAC® is made of selected wood fibres (MDF) and specially designed for lacquering.
FIBRALAC is an MDF board with smooth surface and compact edges, good dimensional stability, and low absorption of water, varnishes and solvents. The lower lacquer absorption on its surface and edges of FIBRALAC allows saving in terms of materials, and a better finish. Its smooth machined surfaces prevent sanding in between each application of lacquer, consequently, it saves in terms of labour costs and improves productivity. By using pigmented lacquers, stronger effects can be achieved with a single colour. If we use different lacquers and a good finishing technique, we can achieve pearl, metallic, marble and fantasy effects. Alternatively, the natural appearance of the FIBRALAC surface can be improved by using a simple pore cover with a transparent coating. E1 classification: low formaldehyde content.
Recommended for general use in dry environments. It may be use in all types of lacquered kitchen and bathroom furniture, drawer fronts using formed edges or moulded surfaces, etc.
