Atrás Inicio | About us...

From its inception, FINSA has based its activity on some essential basic foundations: raw materials of the highest quality, human resources in constant evolution, closely identified with the objectives of the company, and the latest technology, where Finsa is pioneer in the sector. All the above mentioned is linked together by the fundamental concept of complete integration of all phases and processes.

The aim of the company is to create an independent and safe development, generating its own human and financial resources so that they will bring about strength and stability.

Our tradition in forestry involves us, on a day-to-day basis, in the development of specialised services which improve and increase the effectiveness of the management of resources that are unavoidably limited. The conservation and comprehensive exploitation of wood is the foundation of a healthy processing industry.

Consequently, and because we have future goals, we work in Finsa to contribute with solutions to an every day more dynamic and demanding market.

Highlighted...
Finsa is the oldest Chipboard and MDF manufacturer in the Iberian Peninsula. It was founded in 1931 as a sawmill, and it has maintained a sustained growth up to now. Currently, Finsa boasts 22 factories, which manufacture a wide variety of wood-derived products. During the last years, Finsa has concentrated its investments in the modernisation of its plants and in the development of new value-added products: melamine faced chipboards and MDF, wood veneer, plywood, mouldings, impregnated paper, laminate flooring, etc. Thanks to all this, Finsa has become an international referent in the wood sector.

Likewise, we would like to convey our commitment and loyalty to the principles or values that have indelibly defined our company from its inception. We consider important to clearly state these values since they will enable you to know Finsa's basic and most important asset: its human capital.
Our Values
We aim to achieve a corporate culture based on shared values. This values will stem from two fundamental principles:

Mutual respect
This is the principle which will produce the best response possible from other. We aim at inter-personal relationships led by:

  • Modesty. We should behave with serenity, without pretensions and appreciating the value of small details.
  • Honesty. We should behave in a sincere and frank manner, seeking a bond of common trust.
  • Generosity. Not only should we listen to others, but we should also strive to include them in our goals, thus actively involving ourselves in helping others to achieve, in turn, their own goals.

    Efficient Effort
This is vital in order to guarantee the sustainable generation of resources, which will, in turn, assure us the freedom and capacity to create the kind of company we want to work in. We need to face up tasks with:

  • Transparency as regards our acts and failures, our judging criteria, and the risks and consequences of our decisions.
  • Enthusiasm, perseverance in our tasks and motivation to improve. Besides an overall positive attitude which enables us to perceive our mistakes as opportunities from which we learn.
  • Teamwork, actively contributing, taking into account all opinions and seeking the common interest.

We aim to be more than mere "dwellers" in our workplace.
And we all strive in our tasks to pass on to others something better than what we found.
